하드락 그룹 Deep Purple 과 Rainbow 에서 활약하던 Ritchie Blackmore 그가 캔디스 나이트 (Candice Night)와 전혀새로운 프로젝트를 구성하고 이전의 Hard Rock 이 아닌, 어쿠스틱 기타와 (Candice Night)와 전혀 새로운 프로젝트를 구성하고 서정적인 포크 음악으로 아내와 함께 어느날 중세 집시풍의 음악을 들고 나타났다. 아일랜드풍 선율은 언제 들어도 시간을 초월한 아름답고 우아한 작은 음악 여행  아리함이 있다. 앤야, 모야, 캔디스 고요하고 맑고 몽환적인 멜로드에 통기타 음률과 함께 포크 성향이 정서와 캔디스 나이트(Candice Night)는 그녀는 어느 날 축구 경기장에서 리치 블랙모어를 만나면서 리치 블랙모어가 레인보우나 딥 퍼플 시절에 강하고 빠른 리듬에서 캔디스와의 인연으로 모던 뮤직을 원하던 공감대와 계기가 된 것인지 그가 오래전부터 르네상스 시대를 그린15세기 중세 음악의  '97년에 블랙모어스 나이트(Blackmore's Night)라는 팀 명으로 Shadow of the moon이라는 앨범을 발표했다. 이 앨범에서 캔디스는 프로그레시브 그룹 르네상스(Renaissance)의 애니 헤이슬럼(Annie Haslem)의 풍부한 성량과 엔야(Enya)의 신비스러운 보이스가 절묘하게 결합된 듯한 목소리로 리치와 천상의 호흡이 돋보인다.
