KC & The Sunshine Band
케이시 더 선샤인 밴드 (KC & The Sunshine Band)는 미국 뮤지컬 그룹으로 최초 결성은 1973년으로 Funk, R&B, Disco 장르의 음악 케이시의 흑인을 흉내낸 소울창법과 관능적인 댄스비트는 그당시 어느댄스그룹보다도 노골적이고 유혹적인 여러가지 음악의 아이템들을 Fusion된 형태로 멋을 풍기고 있다. 70년대 최고의 댄스곡으로 Latin percussion groove 리듬에서 영감을 얻어 76년도 발표해 빌보드 차트에 디스코 그룹으로 1976년 싱글 차트 1주간 1위를 기록했다. 이들은 계속해서 That's The Way, I'm Your Boogie Man 등의 디스코 음악을 싱글 차트 정상에 올려 놓았다. 70년대 후반 Disco의 전성기 열풍을 주도한 장본인이기도 한다.
