위즈 칼리파(Wiz Khalifa)는 1987년 미국 출생으로 2006년 정규앨범 'Show and prove' 데뷔해 2016년 5월 빌보드 뮤직 어워드 랩송 부문을 받았다. 이노래는 영화 '분노의 질주' 시리즈의 주인공 폴워커( Paul Walker)가 그 영화에서 멋진 운전실력을 보여주었던 아주 멋진 배우였으나 2013년말 불의의 사고로 안타깝게 하늘나라로 간 배우이디. 그를 기리기 위해 작곡된 이 노래는 빈자리를 떠난 친구에게 대한 그리움과 감사의 마음을 표현한 노래 가사로 그리움 우리는 다시 만날 것이라는 희망을 품은 노래이다.
