플리트우드 맥(Fleetwood Mac) 창립은 피터 그린(Peter Green) 중심으로 1967년 런던에서 결성된 5인조 록 밴드이다. 1975년 앨범 「Fleetwood Mac」과 1977년 앨범 「Romours」로 어마어마한 상업적 성공을 거두며 1970년대를 풍미했던 이들의 이 노래 ‘Dreams’는 70년대가 낳은 희대의 러브송으로 '스티브 닉스'의 고혹적인 목소리가 단연 일품으로 이 앨범은 마이클 잭슨의 “Thriller”가 나오기 전까지 한 아티스트의 앨범으로서는 가장 많은 판매를 기록한 앨범으로 기네스북에 올라 있었으며, 1998년 플리트우드 맥은 '로큰롤 명예의 전당'(Rock and Roll Hall of Fame)에 올랐다.  '플리트우드 맥'의 리드 기타리스트이며 이 밴드의 창단 멤버인 '피터그린 (Peter Green)'는 블루스 록계의 실력파인 그는 '블랙 매직 우먼(Black Magic Woman)의 원작자이며 2003년 「롤링 스톤」이 선정한 '역사상 가장 위대한 기타리스트 100' 순위에서 38위에 오른 위대한 기타리스트, 많은 사람이 화이트 블루스의 최고봉의 그는 우리 곁을 떠났으나 그의 노래도 함께 올려본다.
