블론디(Blondie)는 1974년 결성되어 1983년 해체될때까지 Deborah Harry(데보라 해리)를 중심으로 한 6인조 혼성 록 밴드이다. 여섯장의 정규 앨범을 낸 이들은 Call me, Rapture, Heart Of Glass,The tide is high 등 모두 네 곡의 빌보드 싱글 차트 1위곡을 남기며 70년대 후반과 80년대 초반까지 커다란 인기를 누렸다. 이 곡은 1979년 발표한 곡으로 영화 "코요테 어글리"의 OST 중의 한 곡이다.
