1. 고난의 길 (Via Dolorosa)

Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street
But the crowd pressed in to see
A Man condemned to die on Calvary 

그 날 예루살렘의 비아 돌로로사 거리에서
군병들이 그 좁은 길을 봉쇄코자 했지만
갈보리에서 사형당할 사람을 보려고
무리들이 몰려 들었네 

He was bleeding from a beating,
there were stripes upon His back
And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for His death 

그는 맞아서 피를 흘리고,
그의 등에는 채찍자국이 선명했네.
그의 머리에는 가시 면류관을 쓰시고,
매 걸음마다
그를 죽이라고 외치는 사람들의 조롱을 당하셨네 

Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King,
But He chose to walk that road out of
His love for you and me.
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary. 

고난의 길이라는 비아 돌로로사 거리에 메시아,
그리스도 왕께서 어린 양처럼 오셨네
그러나 그는 당신과 나를 사랑하시기 때문에
그 길을 걸으시기로 하셨네
갈보리까지 이어지는 그 비아 돌로로사 거리를 

The blood that would cleanse the souls of all men
Made its way through the heart of Jerusalem. 

모든 사람들의 영혼을 깨끗하게 하실 피가
예루살렘의 심장을 통해서 흘러 넘쳤네. 

Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
