제이슨데룰로(Jason Derulo)는 1989년 미국 마이애미에서 출생, 2009년도에 데뷔 한  ' In my head'로 엄청난 인기를 끌었고 얼마 전 브라이언이 이 곡을 한국어 버전으로 불러 화제가 되기도 했다.  2009년 발매한 'Whatcha Say''로 빌보드 싱글, 팝, R&B 차트 1위에 올랐다.  그는 8살 때부터 공연 예술 학교에 진학해 가수, 작곡가, 댄서, 연기자의 꿈을 향해 질주했으며, 8세 때부터  'Crush on You'를 작곡해 천재적 재능을 드러냈다.  '크렉 데이빗'과 '니요'를 이을 R&B 아이돌으로 마이다스 프로듀서 J.R. 로템이 발탁한 스타이다. 시원스럽고, 부드러우면서 파워풀한 노래로 현재 미국에서 절정의 인기를 누리고 있는 그는 특히 한국에 뜨거운 관심을 두게 된 것은 밴쿠버 동계올림픽에서 김연아의 피겨 연기에 반했다고 한다.
