1980년대 미국 뉴저지에서 결성 된 The Smitereens 는 파워팝에 영향받은 1960년대 의 캐치한 멜로디를 특징으로 한 음악을 주로 작업해 왔다. 그들은 데뷔초부터 꽤 좋은 평가를 받아왔는데 여러 영화에 음악이 삽입되고 뮤직비디오도 많은 사랑을 받기도 했다. 이번 앨범은 기존에 그들이 비틀즈를 커버하는 등 해왔던 스윗트한 스타일과는 다르게 보다 록 적인 면을 부각시킨 면모를 느낄 수 있다. 그러나 멋진 멜로디와 훌륭한 하모니, 비트의 몰아침은 여전하다.
