스모마(Smoma)는 이탈리아의 3인조 혼성 트리오다. 오랜 라이브 경험을 바탕으로 탁월한 연주와 능수능란한 보컬을 선보이는 팀의 홍일점이자 절대적인 카리스마 메이커인 보컬리스트 시모나(Simona)를 중심으로 기타, 베이스, 키보드를 비롯해 작사, 작곡, 편곡까지 도맡는 그룹의 실질적인 브레인 토비아(Tobia), 그리고 고감도의 트럼펫 연주로 어덜트 무드를 증폭시키는 앤디(Andy)가 양 사이드를 담당한다. 이러한 철두철미한 진용 덕분에 스모마 사운드에는 라운지의 화려함과 고난이도의 그루브를 동시에 담을 수 있었다.

유명가수들의 명곡을 자신들만의 색깔로 편곡해 히트곡을 만들었고 유명 패션쇼에서 많이 쓰이는 들를수록 기분좋은 밴드이다. 무엇보다 재즈로 기반을 쌓은 것이 퀄리티에도 남다른 자신감을 부여했는데, 80퍼센트를 커버 곡으로 장식한 데뷔 앨범 < Songs To Remember >는 하우스 버전과 앨범 버전으로 수록된 조지 벤슨(George Benson)의 'Give me the night', 토토(Toto)의 'Georgy porgy', 조지 거쉰(George Gershwin)의 'Summertime', 몰로코(Moloko)의 'Sing it back', 그리고 빌 위더스(Bill Withers)의 'Ain't no sunshine' 다양한 팝/록/소울 레퍼토리들을 섹시하고, 퇴폐적인 색깔로 “어른의 세계”를 재해석했다.
