서바이버(Survivor)는 1978년 미국에서 결성했다. 1982년 영화 록키 3 OST 'Eye of the tiger' 1986년 록키 4 OST 'Burning Heart' 으로 

영화의 성공과함께 이 곡은 6주동안 빌보드을 차지했다. 실베스타 스탤론 주연의 영화 '록키' 는 영화도 박진감 넘치고 재미있지만 음악도 그 후록키 시리즈 명곡들을 남게했다.
